Service: Compliance
Abstract: Support to an EPC contractor for the realization of an onshore / offshore NLNG project in Nigeria.
Client: Oil & Gas
Period: 2021

Initial Client situation
The project concerns the expansion of an existing NLNG infrastructure located in Bonny Island through an operational upgrading of the plant both onshore and offshore as well as the expansion of the ground facilities to accommodate the operating personnel of the new plant.
The NLNG Project has the objective to maximize the production and generate additional value by expanding the existing NLNG Complex with a new Train and a new Common Liquefaction Unit that collects excess treated gases from the trains and process it to LNG.
The Project includes also a new export jetty and berth with relevant loading and ship vapor return facilities, the expansion of the existing Power Plant as well as of the other utilities systems (demin water, instrument air, inert gas system, drains, fire water), the debottlenecking of the existing flare systems and the addition of new flare systems for CT/CLU.

- Drafting of the Environmental Management Plan that establishes the guiding principles for the proper management of the environmental issues concerning the Early EPC Works.
- Drafting of the Environmental Monitoring Plan for Early Works activities, both onshore and offshore concerning the main environmental components: air, water, soils, subsoils, noise, marine sediments).
- Definition of the environmental regulatory compliance criteria that can be attached to the project.
